Micheal Jordan not only breaks records on the basketball court, he's making history with weddings too. I was able to capture a few photos of this star studded wedding to share. Enjoy!
Jordan married his longtime girlfriend Yvette
Prieto over the weekend and spared no expense at making it the wedding of her dreams. The wedding cost a reported $10,000,000! The couple married at the beautiful Episcopal church Bethesda-by-the Sea in Palm Beach, Florida. Yvette looked absolutely stunning in a handmade, French silk, corseted dress with Swarovski crystal accents designed by J'Aton Couture. The reception was held in a massive tent at the Bear's Club in Jupiter, FL boasting over 40,000 square feet (5,000 square feet
larger than Jordan's home I must add). This makes it the world's largest wedding tent in
history!
One
can only imagine what the scenery was like under this enormous
tent. From the photos, I can tell it was amazing!
According to reports, the 2,000+ guests dined in the main event room filled with roses, tulips, and peonies arranged by Mark's Garden. Later, the guests were entertained by artists such as Usher, Robin Thicke, and other performers in a grand ballroom. The
color scheme appeared to be lavender and white, with silver and crystal
accents.
In the photo above, you can catch a glimpse of the special lighting reflecting a damask
design pattern on the dance floor. The effect was allowed by special floor and ceiling paneling that blocks light to enable lighting effects.
The world's largest wedding tent also included private cigar rooms and two side tents that housed luxurious bathrooms.
I am in hopes that they release more
photos for us to share. Until then, let's drool over the ones we have here.
Live and Love!
J.
